Shekhar Ghate – Co-Founder & Group Managing Director.

Mr. Ghate holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from a prestigious Business school in India. He is the Co-Founder & Group Managing Director of the company and has established Apple & Pears Limited from its inception to one of the top Agro and Food companies in Nigeria. This was achieved in a short span of five years. Mr. Ghate has over 25 years of experience in managing large scale manufacturing companies ranging from the textiles, plastics and agro-allied industries and serves as a Director on the Board of several companies. He has a professional history in planning and execution of new projects in different sectors with an excellent track record of achieving and accelerating business growth to make the companies profitable and sustainable over the years. He has held top management positions in his career and has in depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, marketing and finance. His strong business acumen and vision is instrumental in making the company a formidable player in the industry and helped him to lead the group successfully. He has created a solid foundation for the business through brand development, value addition to the products and most importantly customer satisfaction and loyalty. His leadership qualities and competency in managing companies is a testimony to the successful ventures he has established. He oversees the entire operations of the group and has created a strong management team who are extremely competent and focussed to achieve the company’s goals.

Ali Hasbini – Managing Director

Mr Hasbini holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Saint Joseph University in Lebanon and is a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors Lebanon which accord him the opportunity to serve in various financial and industrial organisations in Lebanon and Nigeria. He is now the Managing Director of the company and has contributed to the establishment of Apple & Pears Limited from its inception. Mr. Hasbini has over 12 years of extensive experience in Sales, Banking, Auditing and Industrial Management. He is a professional with a proven record in generating and building relationships, managing projects from concept to completion. He has held senior positions in his career and has a wide knowledge of banking and manufacturing operations. He oversees the entire operations of the company and is also actively involved in the procurement of commodites.

Johnson Adah – Chief Operating Officer

Johnson holds a Master’s degree in business administration,  a Higher National Diploma in Textile Sciences and Technology and an honorary Doctorate award. Adah is a result-driven individual who has combined his Top of class academic credentials with real-world working and business experiences and possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to deal creatively and practically with business administration problems and issues involving innovative strategy formulations and implementation.

Lanre Fakeye – General Manager

A graduate of Economics from the University of Calabar, Lanre Fakeye is a charismatic business professional who has been successful at managing business ventures and administrative positions; and effectively guiding new products and services from concept to market acceptance. His career journey includes ventures into the ever expanding and dynamic fields of business management, administration, sales and operations and marketing communications. Having worked in the media, music, haulage, oil and gas and construction industries respectively in several management positions.

Stella Sawyer – Head Public Relations

Stella is a seasoned journalist and communication expert of high repute. She is the present head of the public relations department of Apple and Pears Limited. Before now, she was the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability manager at International Breweries PLC. Stella started her journalism career at Tell Communications Limited, publisher of Tell Magazine, one of Nigerian best hard sales. She rose from a reporter to an Associate Editor from 1996 to 2016, when she left to head the Lagos office of the Nigerian Institute of Public relations as the assistant registrar. She left the institute in 2018 to work at IBPLC at its Gateway Plant, the biggest brewery in Sub-saharan Africa. An award-winning journalist, Stella had won for herself several laurels in the field of journalism. She had also attended many conferences in and outside the country. A graduate Of Mass communication, Stella holds a PGD degree from the Lagos State University, Lagos and a diploma from the prestigious Lagos Business School, Lagos.

Mark Abiora – Quality Control and Compliance Manager

A graduate of Bayero University Kano and Anambra State University of Technology Enugu, Mr. Mark Obiora is highly qualified engineer with excellent track record in engineering and smooth running of factories within the group.
He started his career with the Mechanical Division of one of the oldest Spinning Mills in Nigeria from 1991-2004 in various stages of factory maintenance and later joined one of the sister companies of Apple and Pears Ltd as, Asst. Factory Manager in 2004 to date and was promoted to the rank of Factory Manager.
He is saddled with the full responsibly of the day today running of the factory to which he serves diligently. With over 26 years experience in various manufacturing Companies in Nigeria, Mark Obiora has been with the group for over 10 years as a Senior factory Manager.

Midhun Anand – Director of Operations

Mr Midhun Anand has been associated with the group for a decade and has served in different capacities in the group. Currently he is the Director of Operations of Apple and Pears Limited. Mr Anand is a graduate in Commerce and a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. His cross functional experience in the fields of finance,strategic and tactical planning and ability to get the plans executed through excellent coordination of resources has contributed in building up a robust foundation for the future growth of the Company. Driven, focused, and highly motivated individual whose vision of success is to rise above the competition in every way.
